NoMi Life Sim

NoMi is a next-generation life simulation for mobile where the story builds around you. Instead of picking option A or B from a menu, players simply say what they want to do, and the world responds. Powered by Oriko, Toyumi’s proprietary AI story engine, NoMi generates personalised storylines, characters and conversations in real time, continuously adapting to each player’s choices.

Think The Sims, but with real open-text conversations and narratives that are never the same twice.

Players choose any aspiration they can imagine, from detective to singer to competitive mushroom forager. They level up their skills, take on story-driven quests, and build platonic or romantic relationships with a diverse cast of characters. Every interaction is generated on the fly, complete with dynamic art and voiceover, creating a living world where the story never ends. A distinctive personality-analysis system even reflects back what kind of person each player is becoming.

Building on a proof of concept that earned a 4.8 rating and Apple’s “Ones to Watch 2025” recognition, the funded prototype adds the full life-sim layer: careers, economy, home ownership and an open world of emergent storytelling.storytelling.
